Magic Kingdom Park’s blue- and gold-turreted, 18-tower icon, Cinderella Castle, rises 189 feet above the park’s 142 acres. Disney’s first theme park in Florida has six themed lands with dozens of attractions builtaround wonder, fantasy and fun: Main Street, U.S.A.; Adventureland; Frontierland; Liberty Square;Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.

This Fall, Magic Kingdom Park will welcome back Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Offered on select dates August through October, this special event haunts the park after normal operating hours (separate admission is required) with a lineup of frightfully fun entertainment.
Families and kids of all ages can enjoy Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This specially ticketed event has become a holiday tradition for many. Featuring a dazzling parade, fireworks, complimentary sweet treats and so much more, it’s warm-hearted, family-friendly fun at Magic Kingdom Park.
1. There are several ways to get to the Magic Kingdom park. You can take the ferry boat or the monorail via the Transportation and Ticket Center, or, if you are staying at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you can take the resort monorail that passes by in between routes.
2. Both the summer weather patterns and the crowds can be brutal. So, to save some time, walk through the shops. This will not only help you get by the crowds, but, you can also get some great air conditioning before battling the heat. This can be applied to Walt Disney World’s other theme parks as well.
3. If you are traveling with smaller children who do not reach the height requirements or simply do not want to ride some attractions, use the Rider Swap system. While one parent rides, the other parent stays with the child until the riding parent returns. The rides that use the Rider Swap system are The Barnstormer, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Seven Dwarves Mine Train, Space Mountain, and the Tomorrowland Speedway.
4. Don't pay for bottled water! All Disney Quick-Service restaurants offer FREE cups of water, as well as there being water fountains located around all Walt Disney World theme parks to fill up your water bottle.
