A Guide To The Quick Service Restaurants At Magic Kingdom Park

Opening in October of 1971, the Magic Kingdom Park, with Cinderella Castle standing tall in the center, is proud to welcome fifty-seven thousand guests per day. However, aside from spinning on teacups, riding down runaway mine trains, and entering the grid from zero-to-sixty miles per hour, Walt Disney World Resorts' first theme park is also known for its unique and flavorful options when it comes time to sit down and eat, and that is no exception for the quick-service options available throughout the parks six themed lands. From Dole Whips to Corn Dog Nuggets, you will find all of that and more right before your next Lightning Lane.

Main Street U.S.A

Casey's Corner

What comes to mind with you think of the United States of America? Baseball and Hot Dogs. Well, at Casey's Corner, you will find that this quick service location offers both of those things in one. Aside from the traditional hotdog, you can also order corn dog nuggets, French fries, chili dogs, andice-cold lemonade to cool down on those hot summer days. The restaurant alsohas plant-based options for guests that are vegetarians. Aside from the foodand baseball memorabilia, several times throughout the day, you can also catch a piano player serenading guests with ragtime-style tunes outside of the restaurant. 

 

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

For those with an overgrown sweet tooth or who are craving something cool and refreshing on those scorching days of summer have to head over to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. There, guests can indulge in oversized sundaes or a simple single-scoop cone of their favorite flavor, all complete with whipped cream, chopped nuts, and a cherry. The perfect treat to cool down from a long, sweltering day of fighting pirates, traveling into space, and escaping nine hundred and ninety-nine happy haunts. 

Main Street Bakery

If guests are still tired from waking up early to rope drop, the Main Street Bakery is the place to go. With Starbucks refreshers, Cold Brews, Frappuccino’s, and other specialty coffee beverages, guests will have no trouble getting their morning round of coffee to kick-start their day. Forgot to eat breakfast? That's no problem because the Main Street Bakery also offers a wide variety of breakfast sandwiches and other delicious pastries that will help you while rushing to secure that perfect spot to watch the three o'clock parade.

Adventureland

Sunshine Tree Terrace

Before taking flight on a magic carpet to Agrabah or heading into anenchanted tiki room, guests have to have one of Walt Disney World's most iconicfrozen treats (aside from the Mickey Mouse Premium Bar); The Dole Whip, and wherecan they find this delectable treat? the Sunshine Tree Terrace, of course. Aside from the Dole Whip, the terrace is also home to other flavors of softserve ice cream, steaming hot pot stickers, and refreshing root beer floats toquench the thirst of all patrons that have trek through the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse with their complimentary Orange Bird sipper. 

 

Tortuga Tavern

After discovering the inhabitants of Davy Jones's Locker with Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew, scallywags young and old can sink their teeth into these crumptious delicacies of Tortuga Tavern, home to their barbecue porksandwiches, orange chicken strips, barbeque slaw dogs, and peanut butter, chocolate hazelnut, and banana sandwiches. To wash it down, guests can enjoy a refreshing pear lemonade slushy or other Coca-Cola products under the shade of the roof ofthe building. 

Aloha Isle

If guests are still in the mood for ice cream, Aloha Isle is another quick-service location that serves delectable treats with a tropical flare. Alongside the Dole Whip and soft serve ice cream cups, guests can tuck into a delicious pieceof pineapple upside-down cake or a cup of freshly squeezed pineapple juice. The best part is that the flavors of the tropical islands will be able to distract the guests from the long wait times for the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Frontierland 

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

Take shelter in the shade of Pecos Bills Tall Tale Inn whereguests can enjoy a wide variety of dishes such as fajitas, rice bowls, nachos, salads, and tacos. Aside from Mexican-inspired dishes, the inn is also home to flame-broiled Angus beef cheeseburgers for the picky eaters of the group. They even have a variety of options for all of the cowpokes far and wide with multiple food allergies. In the inn, guests can have a break from the hot Florida sun and fuel up in the cafe before catching a ride on Big Thunder Mountain.

  

Westward Ho

Weary travelers can stop by Westward Ho. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Westward Ho offers cowboys and cowgirls alike something to munch on for a quick bite. This quick service location offers corn dog nuggets, candied bacon skewers, jalapeno poppers, breakfast sandwiches, powdered cinnamon-sugardonut holes, and various options for potato chips, coffee, slushies, and soft drinks for guests to stock up during their long walks through the wide Western skies of Frontierland. 

 

Golden Oak Outpost

Looking for a simple snack? Golden Oak Outpost is the right place for both a break from the crowds and to offer dishes that everyone in your group can enjoy. The menu is quite simple, really: chicken tenders, loaded chicken strips, chili cheese fries, French fries, chocolate chip cookies, and Coca-Cola products. This quick service location is hidden along the path between Frontierland and Adventureland, so, if you happen to pass by the outpost, give yourself a few minutes out of the day to enjoy a chicken tender basket and enjoy the shade under the trees before heading off to catch the next showing Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire.

Liberty Square

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments

For something other than ice cream to satisfy the sweet tooth, Sleepy Hollow Refreshments offers funnel cakes and waffles stuffed with hazelnut spread, fresh fruit, and powdered sugar. They are so stuffed to the brim that some guests get to eat them as if they are sandwiches. Besides funnelcakes and waffles, Sleepy Hollow also offers corn dogs, turkey legs, and housemade chips. The best part about this location? Guests get amazing views towatch the Festival of Fantasy parade go by.  

 

Columbia Harbour House

If guests are craving seafood, they have come to the right place in Liberty Square. Just across from Haunted Mansion is the Columbia Harbour House, a quick service location inspired by the flavors of New England. Here, you will find fish sandwiches, lobster rolls, shrimp skewers, grilled salmon, crab cake sandwiches, hushpuppies, and even a shrimp boil. Not very keen on seafood? Not to worry! The harbour house also has chicken tenders and French fries on standby for the pickiest of diners. 

 

Liberty Square Market

For a healthier option or wanting to stock up on treats to survive therest of your day in the parks, try the Liberty Square Market where guests will find many options for snacks and fresh fruits galore. Apples, oranges, bananas,pickles, chips, turkey legs, gummy bears, pretzels, hot dogs, you name it. The Liberty Square Market has it all, including outdoor seating to rest theiraching feet and stay cool under the shade of the umbrellas propped above the table.

Fantasyland

Cheshire Cafe

Home to the infamous Tiger Tails, Cheshire Cafe serves strange and unusual treats inspired by the classic film Alice in Wonderland. Celebrate your very merry unbirthday with a pepper jack pretzel, a Merry Unbirthday cupcake with a tea-infused buttercream frosting, or an All Mixed Up slushie if you are not in the mood for coffee. With treats like these, guests will be grinning like the Cheshire Cat himself for the rest of the day. 

 

The Friar's Nook

Right next door to the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is The Friar's Nook. This eatery, inspired by the classic film Robin Hood, is the bestplace for lords and ladies to graze on macaroni and cheese, tater tots, bratwursts, and of course, an all-American hot dog. Got room for dessert? Well, the Caramel Apple-Pecan Hand Pie will do the job of tempering the lingering sugar craving one has just nicely.

 

Storybook Treats

Looking for unique ice cream cones throughout the park? Well, look no further because Storybook Treats is the eatery where you can find ice cream concoctions based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. The cones change depending on the month and time of year it is. Next to these cones, Storybook Treats also serves sundaes, root beer floats, and various flavors of soft-serveice cream. 

  

Pinocchio's Village Haus

For those wanting to become a real boy (or girl) should stepright up to Pinocchio's Village Haus. The Haus is home to an assortment of flatbread pizzas, salads, breadsticks, and soups. The best part is not only a break from the sweltering Florida heat, there the Haus also has a view of It's a Small World, so, while you eat, you can watch other guests get prepared to sail on the happiest cruise that ever sailed

 

Prince Eric's Village Market

When guests return to dry land after visiting Ariel and friends under the sea, they can travel to Prince Eric's Village Market Place. At the marketplace, guests are treated to pretzels, pickles, turkey legs, chips, slushies, and, for a healthier alternative, fresh grapes. With a quick-service eatery like this, the snacks that are offered will help pass the time when waiting inline to go back under the sea and meet with Ariel herself.  

 

Gaston's Tavern

If guests are hungry as a beast and worried about not making it to their latest dining reservation, then be our guest at Gaston's Tavern. Inside the tavern, you will find warm cinnamon rolls, and ham, provolone, and Swiss cheese sandwiches. Try the grey stuff cupcake, it is indeed delicious, and if you do not believe the cast members, ask Lefou's Brew. Lefou's Brew is the tavern's signature beverage made of frozen apple juice with a hint of toasted marshmallows and topped with a passion-fruit mango foam, but do not worry moms and dads, Lefou's Brew is non-alcoholic and can be enjoyed by both kids and adults alike.

Tomorrowland 

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe

Be serenaded by the sweet sounds Sonny Eclipse's tenor voice while tucking into a plate of chicken tenders and French fries at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. However, chicken tenders and Sonny Eclipse are not the only ones that steal the spotlight from this quick-service location. At the Starlight Cafe, guests can also order a wide variety of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads with chicken or shrimp. It also makes a delightful place to rest and recharge from the crowds that are just itching to get to their next ride. 

Tomorrowland Terrace

Please note, this location is temporarily closed now and is only open for seasonal dessert parties with gorgeous views of Cinderella Castle and the nightly fireworks. 

Hidden behind the hustle and bustle of Tomorrowland is Tomorrowland Terrace. This quick-service location is a nice place to keep cool in the shade and the perfect spot for guests to devour chicken, fish, and shrimp platters, chicken nuggets, lobster rolls, fried shrimp, hushpuppies, and leafy green salads.

  

The Lunching Pad

While this restaurant is called the Lunching Pad, they offer more than just food to munch on for lunch. Located below Astro Orbiter, the Lunching Pad isthe hot stop for the inhabitants of Tomorrowland to pick up a breakfast bowl, hot dog, or piping hot pretzel to go before heading over to Space Mountain or help Buzz Lightyear defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. It is also the best place to rest your weary bones under the shelter of the shade the structure provides while gazing at the other guests taking their tour of Tomorrowland onboard the PeopleMover. 

 

Cool Ship

Need a quick popcorn or beverage refilling right before your drive on the Tomorrowland Speedway? Cool Ship can restock guests with popcorn or their beverage of choice as quick as flash. However, Cool Ship is not just the place to refill your empty popcorn buckets, it is also the establishment where you can order cinnamon-glazed nuts, seasonal desserts, and salty, buttery pretzels. All while a cool mist drapes you from head to toe as you continue your tour around the cosmos. 

Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies

If you are still craving that ice cream treat, look no further because Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies will provide guests with anassortment of goodies to satisfy a sweet tooth from both young and old. Here,you can order milkshakes, soda floats, vanilla or chocolate soft-serve icecream, sundaes, and even a warm churro with dipping sauce. The best part about Auntie Gravities is that depending on the time of year, the menu tends to change, and seasonal shakes will be added for guests to indulge.
