New Annual Pass Program Coming To The Disneyland Resort, Magic Key

Disney has released more information about their new and improved annual passholder program called Magic Key.

Magic Key unlocks you access to all your favorite things at the Disneyland Resort. They Magic Key has 4 different types of keys, giving a new kind of experience to its visitors. The Key will give you available discounts to merchandise, food and much more, they start at $349. This new Magic Key program provides reservation-based admission to one or both Disneyland Resort theme parks where you’ll make memories visit after visit.

All Magic Keys are allowed to park hop between both parks after 1pm.

How to Use a Magic Key pass

Follow these 3 easy steps to use your Magic Key.


Step 1: Access Calendar

Check the Magic Key access calendar, which shows admission and blockout dates and current park reservation availability.



Step 2: Make a Reservation

Be sure to sign in to your existing Disney account—or create a new one—via Disneyland.com. If you haven’t done so already, link your Magic Key ID—the 18 digit number you receive upon purchase. Then, visit Park Reservations to start the theme park reservation process.


Select the date and theme park that you wish to visit from the available theme park reservations. You can make reservations for one park only or both parks, pending availability.


Magic Key holders, choosing both parks, can select which theme park to start their day at and may cross over and switch between parks on the same day beginning at 1:00 PM, subject to capacity.

Step 3: Review and Confirm Your Visit

Review your theme park reservation and agree to the Terms & Conditions, including the COVID-19 liability waiver, and select “Confirm” to complete your park reservation.


Provide an email address to receive your reservation confirmation. In addition, check your email account to ensure you’ve received your confirmation.


Please be prepared to present your Magic Key pass in the Disneyland app when you arrive on the day of your visit.

All of these keys are available for purchase on August 25th, 2021.
